Our Collaborative Initiatives
Deepfake Analysis Unit
The Deepfakes Analysis Unit (DAU) is an initiative by the Misinformation Combat Alliance (MCA) in India, dedicated to combating AI-generated misinformation, particularly deepfakes. Leveraging our expertise, we conduct in-depth, manual analyses to assist DAU in assessing the authenticity of suspect media, helping to strengthen their efforts in detecting and countering deepfake content.Our collaboration with DAU involves:
- Providing expert analysis on potentially manipulated media
- Sharing insights on emerging deepfake detection techniques
- Contributing to the development of best practices for media verification
